Sensei Frank Gaviola started martial arts training in 1968 with Hanshi Richard Kim at the Chinese YMCA in San Francisco, CA.
Sensei Frank Gaviola is currently an adjunct professor for the Physical Education Department teaching karate and tai chi for
Los Rios Community College (Folsom Lake and
El Dorado campus).

Sensei Lenore S. Tejo-Gaviola
Instructor, Martial Arts Way
6th Dan in Karate and 3rd Dan in Ju Jitsu
In 1962, Sensei Lenore Gaviola started jujitsu training in San Francisco with Professor Duke Moore and karate training with Hanshi Richard Kim until his passing in November 2001.
For 14 years, Sensei Lenore Gaviola taught
ju jitsu and karate to adults and children for Tejo's Dojo in San Francisco and Sacramento.
Current Position:
Assistant Instructor for Martial Arts Way 1981 to Present.
Staff instructor for the ZBBK Summer Camp
Guelph University in Guelph, Canada
2003 to Present.
Taught martial arts seminars in Chicago and Detroit.
